Your First Trip To Cantilever Park?

Let us take you on a tour and give you tips to getting around

Upon Approach:

Go through the main entrance gates into the reserved car park. On your left your will notice the club house and in the far top right of the car park, is the entrance:

Have your change or season ticket ready - no electronic payments yet available. Keep an eye on the adjacent doors for posters advertising forthcoming games.

You can now see the pitch. As is the case at this level of football, close proximity to the playing surface is the norm. The map below gives you a better idea of the layout:

The blue boxes are seating areas. All seating is unreserved and at no extra cost. The best view is from the right hand (far side as you enter) stand. The stand adjacent to the cafe is now a terrace and fond of the vocal element in the winter if we arent playing into the shed. Be aware we have drums!

Next to that is the entrance to the toilets behind that stand and adjacent in the big blue box is the Club Shop. Pop in here to speak to Jannette for all your merchandise needs, travel club details and any infromation.

You can access all areas of the ground by walking around the outside of the pitch. Please be aware just before and after commencement of the game (and half time) access in front of the changing rooms is prevented to allow the players / officials access to the pitch.

If we turn left once we have entered the ground:

You walk in front of the changing rooms. Dont be surprised to see the manager of either team hanging around at this point. Immediatley as you turn left at the end of the building, the notice boad with the team sheet is on the wall. The PA will announce them before the game, but stop here to get early notice.

Adjacent to this point is the main exit at the end of the game, although you can if you desire exit through the turnstiles if you cannot get across the front of the main building.

The area ahead of you is one of the main standing areas. Some prefer to stand here to watch the game and be close to the dugouts, although families are cautioned that in the heat of a game language from the managers can become industrial.

To your left is the clubhouse. The overhang is your escape from the rain if needed. Enter the left double doors after the game for some post match banter in the clubhouse.

Proceeding forward, you see the entrance to the food bar on the left. This is no gastro pub, but your basics of hot and cold drinks, hot food (chips etc) and cold food (crisps etc) are fully met and at a reasonable cost.

Further on and on your left is a small covered terrace. Behind this stand on the path immediatley adajcent are the main toilet facilities.

That terrace is  fond of the vocal element in the winter if we arent playing into the shed. Be aware we have drums!

Next to that is the entrance to the toilets behind that stand and adjacent in the big blue box is the Club Shop. Pop in here to speak to Jannette for all your merchandise needs, travel club details and any infromation.

For the more vocal support, the shed at the end of the ground is the main covered terracing.

We are a friendly bunch behind the goal and all are welcome to join us. A good place for banter and singing. We are proud to say that generally the language is clean and the songs positive. Be careful of which way the teams are kicking as you could end up standing with a vocal away support. We make no such promises about their singing / language!!

Behind the other end is the 3G pitch. Contact the club if you wish to hire this:

There is hard standing in front of these ptiches and you can get very close to the goal mouth action here. It is however open to the elements so bear that in mind.

Walking back across this goal brings you back to the turnstiles.

We hope you enjoy your visit to Cantilever Park and look forward to seeing you again soon.
